Private health insurance providers, CS Healthcare, have responded to the recent Government and EU announcements to provide cross-border healthcare by highlighting the fact that those public sector employees with comprehensive medical insurance can have the best of both worlds.

The new initiative is being viewed by many as an effort to provide UK citizens with more choice when it comes to medical treatment. However, anyone undertaking the new scheme will still be set to pay any difference if treatment abroad is more expensive than that provided by the NHS in the UK, making private medical insurance a highly viable alternative for medical treatment at a time, place and cost to suit you.
