Private Health Care, What Will I Receive?
The level of private healthcare you choose will determine what medical care you can expect to receive should the need arise. With CS Healthcare, cover is available on various levels and can be tailored to meet an individual's specific needs. This flexible type of health insurance, called 'your choice', allows you to make informed decisions about what care you receive and where and when you receive it. 
There are a number of cover options to select from allowing you to pick and choose the type of cover that suits you best. This further aids the freedom of choice that can be made available through private healthcare. 
The Essential plan provides cover at great value, leaving you to decide if you wish to increase cover further with additional options. Essential offers coverage for surgery, medical care, accommodation and specialised scans as well as cover for pre and post operative tests. 
You can then choose to take out additional options to increase your health care cover. These options are, Expert Diagnostics, Therapy & Care, Heart & Cancer and Cash Benefits. Each option targets certain aspects of health care; for example, the Therapy & Care package allows you access to various complementary and alternative therapies including physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic treatment and acupuncture. The Expert Diagnostics option gives you peace of mind when counselling or investigation for an illness or injury is required.
So, what can you expect not to be covered by private health insurance? There are always some exceptions to any plan and this does include any ailments or injuries that arose before the insurance policy was taken out. There are in fact several general exclusions, all of which are discussed in details here.
